Powder Coating
All products coated by CW Elaborations begin by being hand cleaned, followed by a heated iron phosphate and de-greasing wash. Media blasting is also available for large or small pieces that would require blasting to provide a more durable adherence. After the cleaning process, all pieces go into an oven for pre-baking. This process is to eliminate out-gassing and to bake out any oils or water left in the metal and/or aluminum. The pieces are then taken to the booth to be powder coated, placed in the oven to bake, and finally, inspected for quality assurance.
Depending on size and quantity, your job will be processed one of two ways:

- 2 ovens—10 ft high, 12 foot wide and 30 foot long
